We went everywhere on the island in a helicopter as there were not many roads then. Here we are boarding a Chinook.

At the end of our 10 day tour

This photo was taken by me in the cockpit of a Hercules aircraft refuelling in mid air, 33,000 ft above the Antartic on our way to the Falkland Islands. Believe it or not! The pilot was in my class at school, how cool is that. We didn't know anythng about this until I took the photo. Amazing!
